St. Louis, Missouri – BizLibrary, a leading provider of online employee training content and software for growing organizations, kicked off their annual client conference, ALIGN, with more than 300 human resources and learning and development professionals in attendance. ALIGN brings together current and prospective clients to discuss best practices and trends within training, employee development, and learning technology.

Dean Pichee, BizLibrary Founder and CEO, opened the conference with some exciting new product announcements built to improve the way employees learn, and the way administrators deliver training within their organizations.

Customizable Learner Homepage

The first major announcement is a new customizable homepage that allows learning content to be personalized for a team and individuals learners. The new homepage has also been re-styled with a modern user interface that engages all learners. Administrators will have the ability to customize their organization’s homepage by adding or removing various pre-built content channels and widgets.

“The new homepage is a feature that has been requested by our clients to help engage their learners on a more personal level,” says Pichee. “Now, in a learner’s moment of need, the most relevant and important content is front and center.”

Quick Reports

Another new feature announced at ALIGN is a dedicated administrative area for reporting and comparative insights. The Reports functionality will include Learning Insights and the new Quick Reports feature, where administrators can save their most frequently viewed learning data. From the Learning Insights page, administrators can see a comparison of their learners’ metrics against other organizations.

“The addition of this dedicated reporting section gives our clients quick and easy data, and is a robust foundation for us to provide more expansive reporting functionality for our clients in the future,” says Erin Pinkowski, VP of Product and Marketing.

Custom Content Creation Tool

BizLibrary now allows its LMS administrators to create and edit their own customized video lessons, using the same tools used to create its own award-winning training libraries. Many BizLibrary clients supplement BizLibrary’s off-the-shelf content with their own custom-created content to fill organization-specific needs.

By using the new built-in custom content creation functionality within the BizLibrary LMS, clients can give their learners a consistent learning experience.

Multi-Level Curated Learning Paths

BizLibrary also announced their new multi-level curated learning paths within their most popular topic areas. BizLibrary’s curated learning paths are developed by content experts to make it easy for learners and administrators to locate content relevant for a given skill or job role. Administrators will also be able to build learning plans that are personalized for every learner, regardless of seniority or experience.

The first two multi-level curated learning paths cover communication and leadership/management, with the potential to add multi-level learning paths in customer service, performance management, project management, and other important topic areas in the near future.

“Our new multi-level curated learning paths serve as stepping-stones to guide learners’ progress from beginner to mastery levels,” explains Pichee.

New Producer Partner: The John Maxwell Company

Lastly, BizLibrary announced their partnership with The John Maxwell Company. Founded in 2011 by John C. Maxwell, The John Maxwell Company offers a wide variety of leadership development training courses. Focusing on areas within leadership like self-discipline, leading or facilitating change, and diversity, John Maxwell courses help learners realize their leadership and personal growth potential.

John C. Maxwell is a #1 New York Times best-selling author, and his award-winning content has trained millions of individuals around the world. BizLibrary’s partnership with The John Maxwell Company will expand their focus on leadership development and self-improvement, specifically with managers and executive leadership.

After Dean’s speech, one client, Michelle Matsche with Challenge Unlimited Inc., told us what she was looking forward to the most, “I’m most excited about the little product and content teasers we get during the president’s address. I can’t wait to see these features in action!”
