McKinsey research found that 51% of employees who left their jobs in the last year cited a lack of belonging as a contributing factor. Many leaders were hoping that a return to the office would solve this problem, however, it has not. BizLibrary has partnered with Dr. Elisa Glick to bring a new Expert Insights series to the BizLibrary Collection. Dr. Glick’s Expert Insight series Building a Belonging Culture can be applied to remote and on-site teams. Workplaces with high rates of belonging can be linked to an increase in job performance, a drop in turnover risk, and a reduction in sick days.

Building a Belonging Culture is a 12-lesson video course made for managers that empowers leaders to build cultures that foster inclusive workplaces through practical recommendations and courses of action. The course works with managers to define what belonging is in the workplace, why it is more important than ever, and the impact that belonging cultures can have on employee retention.
