Meet our New Client Success Manager, Nathan Cook

Nathan Cook Client Success Manager

Nathan joined BizLibrary in January 2019. He is responsible for partnering with clients to come up with strategic plans for their training program by providing insights and best practices.

Where are you from?

St. Charles, MO

How did you end up at BizLibrary?

My journey to BizLibrary began with realizing my life was moving three times faster than the average speed for a 24-year-old. I graduated college and had exciting news that my first-born son was on the way. I had to evaluate what I wanted to do with my career, given raising children is not cheap. I had several business relationships that I could have returned to work for, but that simply wasn’t where I wanted to go with my own development.

Then BizLibrary reached out to me via LinkedIn, and given the urgent need to be employed I gave it a try. What I was not prepared for was the people. Every interview/office visit was welcoming and challenging. When it was time to make a decision, it was simple. BizLibrary had the ability to push me to be my best and came with the resources necessary to achieve continuous growth.

Tell us a bit about your background.

I am a recent graduate from Southeast Missouri State University with a degree in corporate communications and a double minor in entrepreneurship and management. I have had wonderful relationships working for Enterprise Rent-A-Car, Catalyst Management LLP, Diode Dynamics, and American Eagle Outfitters. Working for these employers helped me establish a foundation into my professional development in which I plan to expand upon here at BizLibrary.

What’s your favorite part of working at BizLibrary?

The culture

Describe yourself in three words.

Persistent, motivated, and fun

Who would play you in a movie about yourself?

A young Robert De Niro

Why is employee training important to you?

Employee training is important to me because I retained a lot of information from college, but I didn’t know how to apply that information. The necessary training that was provided to me at BizLibrary helped me make great accomplishments, even a promotion!
