Meet our New Client Success Manager, Mark Rapp

Mark Rapp Client Success Manager

Mark joined BizLibrary in January 2019. He is responsible for building strategic partnerships with clients to ensure the overall success of their various learning and development programs and goals.

Where are you from?

I grew up just south of St. Louis, MO in a little town called Pevely. After a few detours I ended up near there again.

How did you end up at BizLibrary?

I found the job posting via LinkedIn Jobs.

Tell us a bit about your background.

I have over 15 years in the training and development world at companies like Reynolds & Reynolds, Anheuser-Busch, and Volvo Trucks North America, as well as some recent account management experience. So the Client Success Manager role at BizLibrary felt like it could’ve been written specifically for me.

What’s your favorite part of working at BizLibrary?

I know this isn’t the first time this answer has been given, but it’s the people here. Everyone is friendly, welcoming, intelligent, and competent.

Describe yourself in three words.

Fun, creative, dependable

Who would play you in a movie about yourself?

I’ve actually had this same conversation with my old department at my last job, and I wanted it to be George Clooney, but everyone else was determined that it would be Mark Ruffalo. I was still good with that, especially if it meant that I could turn into the Hulk.

Why is employee training important to you?

Although this is a simplistic answer, I do think this simple truth gets overlooked all too often: It’s very difficult to do your job correctly and meet expectations if you don’t receive the proper training to do it.
