BizLibrary Employees Raise $1,738 for Charity

Chesterfield, MO, December 26, 2012– BizLibrary employees participated in fundraising efforts for two charities, Operation Food Search and Adopt a Family, donating $1,738 overall throughout November and December.
In November, BizLibrary employees donated $952 and numerous canned goods to Operation Food Search, a St. Louis food bank that distributes free food to feed the poor and hungry. Each month, Operation Food Search distributes more than 2 million pounds of food and necessities to 230 food pantries, soup kitchens and homeless shelters in 27 St. Louis-area counties of Missouri and Illinois.
Employees also raised over $786 in less than a week for Adopt a Family, a Salvation Army program that matches impoverished families with individual or group sponsors to provide for their tangible needs at Christmas. BizLibrary President and CEO Dean Pichee also donated a $400 Wal-Mart gift card for the family.
“I’m very proud of the generosity of BizLibrary employees,” said BizLibrary President and CEO Dean Osborn. “These fundraising efforts have been an enjoyable opportunity for all of us, and we hope that our efforts help those who are less fortunate have a wonderful holiday.”
