Please follow the guide below to download and install Java on your computer.  Once you have reviewed the guide please use it as a reference when you begin the process of downloading and installing.

First, please click on this link to run our browser test www.companycollege.com/bh/browsertest.asp.  Check the Java test section and if you fail, please download and install Java following the steps below.

Second, please go to www.bizlibrary.com/softwaredownloads and click on the link to install Sun Java Build 1.5.0_06.

Next, click on the option for "Open" when the download options appear.

Once you have selected open, a dialog box will appear confirming that you would like to install the application.  Please click on "Run" or "Yes".

The install process now begins and you will be presented with some options.  The first step is to accept the End User License Agreement, or EULA, and have the option selected for a typical installation.  By default this option is already selected.

On the next screen, please be sure that the option to install Google Desktop is unchecked, and proceed by clicking "Next."

The download will proceed and when finished you will see the following screen:

Once you have finished installing Java, please go to your control panel, by clicking on your PC's Start button, then clicking on Control Panel.  You can also find your PC's control panel by clicking on Start -> Settings -> Control Panel.  Once in the Control Panel locate the Java Control Panel, as pictured below.  If you are unable to see the Java control panel please select the option to "Switch to Classic View" on the left hand side of the control panel window.

After double clicking on the Java icon, you can see the Java Control Panel window.  Please navigate to the updates tab, uncheck the option for automatic updates, and then select apply and okay.  If you are asked to run an update while performing this task, please select the option to never update.
