Although most people are directly affected by the decisions and actions of government, few people know exactly how these systems work or how to work with them. Understanding the purpose, organizational structure, and interrelationship of government departments is a necessary part of being able to deal effectively with them. This four part series is designed to educate the learner on how the Federal government is organized and how to work with the various branches, departments, agencies, and authorities.
