BizLibrary released a new ebook, Keep Peace and Keep Learning in a Multi-Generational Workforce. This 26-page ebook, written by Chris Osborn and Jessica Batz helps explain how the key influences, conflicts and pressures in a multi-generational workforce impact employee training and development programs.
The ebook reviews demographic data on the current workforce and focuses on practical tips and key perspectives from a member of the Baby Boomer generation (Osborn) and a Millennial (Batz). According to Chris Osborn, Vice President of Marketing at BizLibrary and one of the ebook’s authors, “This is a really fun topic to think about, read about and research! As we waded through a lot of interesting theory and data, we found there really weren’t a lot of practical tips about how training and development professionals can effectively reach across the various generations in their employee population. We hope we’ve added to the conversation with this new ebook.”

BizLibrary also offers a webinar on the same topic area (coming up Wednesday, July 25, 2012!), Practical Tips to Improve Employee Learning Across Generations. “In both the ebook and the upcoming webinar we hope to offer constructive take-aways in an area that’s – for the most part – been lacking in practical advice and best practices. I really hope training and development professionals are able to directly apply what we discuss to their own organizations,” commented Jessica Batz, Marketing Specialist at BizLibrary and co-author.
