On the first day of CLO Symposium Spring 2011, panelist Jeff Cobb, Associate Director of Workforce development at Verizon Wireless, said that after two years developing it, Verizon is now moving social learning outside of workforce development and into other divisions of the company. According to Cobb, social learning will one day be as essential as email. “People will laugh that it was ever questioned,” he said.
