 You're Invited to Align 2011!
I'm Shannon Kluczny, the VP of Client Services here at BizLibrary. I am very excited about ALIGN 2011. We've put together a great looking program, and you can read more details in this month's newsletter. I wanted to write to extend a personal invitation to anyone interested in employee training and development, e-learning and learning technology.
The industry is changing so fast, it's virutally impossible to keep up by simply reading journals. articles or blogs. By attending ALIGN, you will get a chance to interact with and meet many of the leading practitioners in the field. You can learn directly from people, like you, solving day-to-day training problems just like the challenges you face. There are many excellent professional reasons to attend - CE credits, great keynote speakers and informative breakout sessions. And - ALIGN is fun! We are going to spend an evening at the incredible City Museum in downtown St. Louis. There's nothing like it anywhere, and I sincerely hope you can attend.
Sincerely,

HR Recertification Hours

BizLibrary's 4th Annual Client Conference, Align, has been pre-approved by the HR Certification Institute (HRCI®) for a maximum of 10 recertification credit hours. HRCI awards recertification credits on an hour-for-hour basis for all educational sessions attended, not including breaks, meals, and networking time.

BizLibrary is an approved CE Provider for Certified HR Professionals.

BizLibrary will provide a worksheet in the on-site conference materials to assist in tracking session attendance. Conference attendees should also maintain the conference registration confirmation as proof of conference attendance.

 * The use of this seal is not an endorsement by the HR Certification Institute of the quality of the program. It means that this program has met the HR Certification Institute's criteria to be pre-approved for recertification credit.

2. BizLibrary Announced as a Finalist in the Best of Elearning!

BizLibrary is a finalist in the Best of Elearning! 2011 Awards in two categories – Best Learning Management System and Best Soft Skills Content. Elearning! Media Group made the announcement naming 58 finalists in 20 categories. There were over 1,750 organizations nominated for the awards. The recognition is the only readers’ choice awards in the industry.

Dean Pichee, President and Founder of BizLibrary said, “This is a great honor. We’ve believed for years that our Learning Management System is one of the best learning technology solutions on the market for small and mid-sized organizations. It’s just a great feeling to realize that our clients and prospects voted for us in the top category – Best Learning Management System - in the awards sponsored by Elearning! Media Group.”

Pichee continued, “What makes this recognition even more meaningful is the knowledge that in the very crowded learning management system market, we are being named one of the top five providers by the readers of Elearning! – one of the top publications in the industry. To make the whole thing even more wonderful for BizLibrary is to look at the other four nominees for the Best Learning Management System. Of the top five, we are the only provider that specifically serves the small and mid-sized market.”

Elearning! Media Group also named BizLibrary a finalist in the Best Soft Skills Content category for BizLibrary’s streaming video collection. “We are equally thrilled with Elearning! readers’ nomination of us in the Best Soft Skills Content category. There are so many excellent content providers in the market, it’s gratifying to be named a finalist with SkillSoft. Our streaming video collection really places us at the forefront of the trend we see in the market towards training content that is short, highly targeted and available on demand – just like the way people look for video at YouTube. We’ve worked very hard to grow this part of our content offering to the point that we have over 1,000 titles available. We are delighted to see that our ongoing emphasis on the quality of these programs paid off in the eyes of our clients and the market,” commented Pichee.

“We are so happy to be named a finalist in two categories. We would also like to extend our congratulations to our partners who were likewise nominated, specifically SkillSoft, one of our e-learning content partners, Trivantis, our authoring tool partner, and Cisco Systems our webinar and virtual meeting partner. It’s really great to know that small and mid-sized organizations can come to BizLibrary, and take advantage of these partnerships and our ability to fully integrate these excellent solutions into a single, comprehensive package of content bundled with technology. I don’ t think any other honoree can say they have the ability to deliver Best of Elearning! 2011 Award finalist products and services in seven different categories,” observed Chris Osborn, VP of Marketing for BizLibrary.

About the Voting
Elearning! readers nominated and voted for products and solutions via Elearning! Media Group’s online ballot. All ballots were cast between May 15th and August 1st, 2011. Each ballot was reviewed and validated by the editorial team. All vendor ballots were voided. Of the 1750 nominations received, 1198 were validated. Each product named is honored for excellence, and the top vote-getter is named as the winner. “Every finalist is a winner in the Best of Elearning! Awards. Given the high volume of votes and the number of nominated products, every one of these solution providers should be proud to be honored for excellence,” concludes Catherine Upton, Group Publisher, Elearning! Media Group.
