Wendy Kirkpatrick of Kirkpatrick Partners to Deliver Keynote at ALIGN 2011

Chesterfield, MO, August 24, 2011 – Wendy Kirkpatrick will deliver one of three keynote addresses at ALIGN 2011 – BizLibrary’s annual Excellence in E-learning Conference in St. Louis, MO September 21, 2011. Wendy is a member of Kirkpatrick Partners and the author of two books with her husband Jim Kirkpatrick: Kirkpatrick Then and Now (2009 Kirkpatrick Publishing) and Training On Trial (2010 AMACOM Books). The books introduce the Kirkpatrick® Business Partnership Model and the Kirkpatrick Foundational Principles. You can learn more about Kirkpatrick Partners at http://www.kirkpatrickpartners.com/ .

“The Kirkpatrick Model for evaluating the effectiveness of training has been the most widely used and adopted model within the industry for over 40 years. Kirkpatrick Partners is headquartered in St. Louis, and we are delighted to have such a well-known authority on training evaluation speak at ALIGN this year,” said Shannon Kluczny, Vice President of Client Services for BizLibrary. “Most of our clients use the Kirkpatrick Model, so giving them the opportunity to hear Wendy in person is very special.”

The Kirkpatrick Model involves using four levels of evaluation, and Wendy’s address will focus on Level 3 and “Getting to Real Business Results Evaluation.”

“We work very hard with our clients to make sure they know how to evaluate the effectiveness of our online training solutions. The Kirkpatrick Model is a great framework that many clients use very well. The most challenging part of any evaluation process is linking training to business results. As part of our implementation process, we help clients set the stage for linking their online and e-learning training to business results, and Wendy’s address will help attendees understand how to make that business case even more persuasively for their organizations,” concluded Kluczny.
