RSPA is headquartered in Charlotte, NC. RSPA has over 650 company-members. The members are resellers, distributors, hardware manufacturers, software developers, consultants and service providers who bring retail technology solutions to the marketplace.
The RSPA Certification Program, which began in 2009, identifies companies in the retail technology industry who provide exceptional levels of competence and performance in a professional manner. To date, 96 RSPA member organizations have completed the certification program. RSPA’s program is endorsed by the National Restaurant Association. The certification program increased member engagement and loyalty and provides a competitive advantage for the RSPA and its member organizations.
Angie Stevens, Business Development Manager at BizLibrary, said, “The RSPA is a great story. They are using BizLibrary’s fully hosted solution to deliver custom developed e-learning content and off-the-shelf e-learning programs. The custom content which we developed for the RSPA constitutes the PCIwise 7 certification program. The off-the-shelf includes courses approved for professional certification and CEU’s, business skill development, computer skills and compliance. Since they also use our certification management, classroom and virtual classroom management modules the RSPA can fully track and monitor the progress through the certification program of participating members. They also use our e-commerce capability, RSPA’s members can sign-up for the program on-demand and make payments on-line.”
According to, Lauren Stark, Education Coordinator, RSPA, “As the only industry association dedicated to retail technology professionals, it’s important for RSPA’s learning management system to be first class. BizLibrary has been a great partner in achieving this goal. The support we received during our implementation is unmatched. The implementation and support teams worked cooperatively with our RSPA team to make sure our message and branding remained on target.”
