Bob Barker Case Study


Challenge - Bob Barker outgrew its traditional, custom developed instructor-led training model. While the in-person, classroom sessions were popular and effective, the organization simply could not provide that type of training on an equitable and consistent basis given the growth and expansion of the operation.

Solution - Outside consulting firm led a national search for an online training vendor, and BizLibrary was selected. Employees at Bob Barker gained access to the following catalogs: Business & Professional Skills, Desktop Computing and Health and Safety. The goal was for about 34% participation in the first year, and Bob Barker hit 37%, which led to the development of some custom courses and the expansion of the program into a full-blown Bob Barker University for employees.
